I do like C&C though. My woman was trying to convince me the first album was better than the second, to which I replied, "but there is no strat solo on the first one!" :gethim:
SSTB is my favrotie by them, definatly. They're all great though, for sure. I've been a big fan of theirs since I saw them in some VFW-like show in '01 as "Shabutie". Claudio had just a wee 'fro back then! Haha. I've seen them 3 times since then, going on 4 at Warped Tour next month. New record comes out in October, according to Claudio. They're playing a new song at Warped, it's called "Running Free" or "The Running" (link below!). Claudio's been playing one of those Minark Medusas. U-G-L-Y!!

Glad to see another Coheed and Cambria fan on the boards!

I tried to like those guys but I cant stand the vocals and they sound like a half baked version of Rush.

There was a C&C thing on a guitar world magazine or something. It was a CD that showed them playing some riffs.
They were sitting next to each other and it didn't seem like they could play in time with each others riffs.

What did you listen to, out of curiousity?

I'm glad to see the flame war has finally ended.

I have to - my son just turned two.

Todays kids need their parents at least until they're 25. That'd be 23 year to go - and I'd be 67 then ("hey, that granny is my dad" - LOL :D

Congratulations on your son's birthday, Olaf! My dad is actually going to turn 67 by the end of this year, and I'm not even 20 years old yet. I think he's only been mistaken as my grandfather twice. ;)

A lot of stuff. Nothing numetal though. About the newest band I like is Mastodon. I play in a reggae band and also play thrash and hardcore on the side.

It hasn't ended. It has temporarily subsided.

Haha, I meant by Coheed, dude. What Coheed stuff did you listen to ?

BTW, I'm a big Mastodon fan as well. VERY cool band.

There are only so many amp heads in the world. This place is very cool , people from all over, sharing there's. When I saw what Bob was pointing out. My though was WTF. You would think they would value this a little more. Seeing what works for other people has made me go try new things. Bob's post at HC years ago made me go check out the univalve. And others have made me see things in different way. I would hate to see what has happend at HC here. I would hope for better.

I agree, Lots to learn from the old and the young. Glad to see it handled in a way that didn't lead to a ban. Adjustments are always needed. I have learned from all of the posts the only problem is my cost of equipment seems to exceed my budget. Thats the only down side. We are musicians so we are gonna act as such and thats a good thing.

My partner here at work has a hemroid the size of a golf ball!
I keep telling him to see a doctor... he sits on one cheek all day.
F'n horrible pain... Do these things ever burst??
I've been lucky never to have had one.

Keith
