If things continue as they are--that is, with people going all ZOMG about something happening between a couple moderators--Peters Amplification will not be leaving.

Guys, I think that we all can agree that we have a great thing going on here and it would be a shame to piss it all away because of some mistunderstandings. I know that most of us watched Harmony Central implode and I would hate to see that happen here. I don't pretend to know what is going on behind the scenes but I think that it can and should be worked out. I can only say what I see because Im not privy to the behind the scenes stuff but from my point of view, it looks like some of you guys are giving up on this board way to easily.

I'm all for running a loose BBS but there is a definite need for moderation otherwise you'll get Guys like Tweedbucket and the likes showing up. (using him as an example because the guy is a huge dick)

I personally think that Thump,Mitch, Bob and everyone else have been doing a great job, So I hope that you guys can rethink some of the things that you are thinking about doing and I hope you can get back to making this place grow. Maybe there are to many cooks. Maybe you guys should divide the moderation to one person per forum segment. hell I don't know. All I know is that this place has major potential and its a shame to let it go to shit. I'm banking that assholes like Tweedbucket are eating this stuff up.

People only post in the amps forum, the other mods wouldn't have anything to do.

I think one mod would be fine here...too many mods and they'll be disagreements on how to mod this place...but maybe you're thinking 'who cares what you think' :D

I guess we should let this thread sink into the depths of all of the other old threads. Fl00, we will have to start a new Fl00 for mod thread.

Man I really hate to see how things have turned ugly here in the past few days, this is probably the best general gear forum on the net. I just read through this thread and it's kinda like hearing your parents fighting in the other room when you're a kid. I think that the whole rig-talk crew has done a hell of a job with this place and I would love to see things get ironed out between you guys. I don't post a whole lot here or anywhere else but I browse here just about every day when I have the time, I chime in when I feel like I have something to add when it's a gear/tech related thread or I may post in a more ot thread if I'm feeling witty. That is the beauty of this place to me, we actually talk about guitars and amps and people can get answers to in depth questions but we can have fun at the same time. I can't tell you how many threads that actually pretained to amps or tone etc. get buried by threads about farts or other stupid ot shit at HC, there's a nice mix here. There's other good places on the net for straight up all gear all the time but some of those are just too uptight and they seem to be inhabited by alot of snobs. There's alot of like minded guys here for the most part and it makes this place special. Thump, I'd just like to say thanks for starting this place and I hope you stick around. I think all of the mods here add to this place in their own way and you all do a good job, this drama latley has lead to wires getting crossed and things taken the wrong way, I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes and I may be way off but that's how it looks from here. I just hope things can get back to normal without any of you guys leaving for good.
 
It would appear that Scotty seems to think that hes a better Captain than James T Kirk. Now we all know that the Enterprise couldnt run with out Scotty but as we all know, The ships engineer simply cant replace Captain Kirk..

Tell Scotty to stick the technical things and Leave all the other shit up to the guys on the Bridge... :thumbsup:
