Stephen I presume that it is a 2x12" cab beneath the Herbert but the front looks different from a regular cab. Is it a customized version?

Shot before my band's show this past Saturday (too much flash tho  ).

Nice gear there. How do you like the tones of the Herbert? I also went ahead and bought a flight case for my Herbert. I ordered the same style as yours- the live in case- just take off front and back lids, and ready to go. I had mine made in the color Orange. Making it a Orange S-Herbert lol, it will match my other orange cases that house my Uberschall, and my 2203 Marshall 100 watter. The waiting is really the hardest part.

Hi, yes, I played there with two of my bands, "Selbstverstümmelt" and "Doppelbock" - but without the Diezel, because I wanted to try out the Engl rack (which I normally use at home) for a gig in November (Batschkapp 30 years anniversary). Next Gig is on Sept. 16 in HG (location: Gambrinus)
with Doppelbock, Selbstverstümmelt and AOK - of course with the Diezel!

:)

hehe nice!!!
wich food will AOK through at the crowd that day?
btw the sound felt better during doppelbock
it was very harsh during selbstverstümmelt. but you will already know this. ROCK ON!!!

It's always better to play before AOK - after they left the stage it looked like a battlefield after a war between vegetables :) My cables are still dirty (in fact they have a completely new skin) because they sprayed whipped cream which resulted in a nice beer, cream and food brew covering the whole stage. The stage was slippery as hell, too, those guys are CRAZY!!!

Yeah, the cab I used was not mine and it was very harsh sounding. When I came home that night my ears were still ringing, cause the cab was placed right at earlevel - a thing I absolutely hate, but unfortunately we had to use the existing backline.

btw, where are you from and (if) in what band do you play?

Right now I'm livin in Hanau. And i'm looking for a band. i made a lot of bad experiences with other musicians so i decided to "some kind of" lettin loose  (bad but funny english) of going to every session i can. but i'm still searching for a band, even a cover or top 40 band.
(Schluß mit meinem Nähkasten...erstmal)

btw i went to that festival because my girlfriend wanted to go there and meet some friends of her(the girlfriend of the friend of your drummer of selbstverstümmelt)

i nearly forgot: i liked it
and NICE location that Bauernhof Raab

haha

I shall contribute once I get me cab :( so many nice setups here people! esspecially Spefan's :)

Good luck finding a band!!! I know this can be a pain in the ass and you'll find a lot of "funny" people during a search.

I play in Selbstverstümmelt since 1988, but the last ten years we're not a serious band anymore, we just play some fun-gigs with our old material which was recorded 1991-1998 and practice maybe 10 times a year (even less with Doppelbock).

My last "real" band broke up some month after our drummer left - we couldn't find a replacement for him. Currently I'm playing together with some guys I know for a long time and we'll start playing gigs in 2007.

Right, the Raabenhof is a very special location and fun to play. It's more a beerfest than a punk rock festival.
