What's with the weird control chassis? Why the two poking planks?

That's the same style layout that Ken Lawrence uses and it's mainly so that the control can fit snugly inside including the 9 volt(s) for the EMGs and power for the led/fiber optic sidemarkers.

That guitar looks amazing! I was never really into the explorer shape, but after seeing this, I'm thinking twice..

I thought that an ESP reverse style headstock would look good on an Explorer body....

I was wrong. Awesome axe man!!!
