hey petezoom, what kind of midi foot pedal thing do you have?[/quote

Hi Yes that's a G System made by TC Electronic ...I always had a Big rack with the g major, tuner, compressor, delay etc etc , and the G system covers all very well . I only use the Herbert and The G system , I don't need anything more !!!

Hey there...

Do you use the G system in the parrallel loop?

I assume you'd set the delay mix at 100%

How do you switch from 'more' delay to 'less delay' and vice versa without reaching for the herberts loop mix knob?

Thanks

John

Hi John I use the Switchable loop of the Herbert . For the Delay you can put the expression pedal of the g system to add or remove the delay mix on the middle of the song , that's one of the cool features of the G System ...that's the best way to do it ....

Benducan --- You're Welcome

Hi Pete,

thanks for getting back to me...

I've been told just now by the supplier that my VH4 should be with them today!

So am I correct in assuming that you set your parrallel loop mix to 100%

So if you use the gysystem's pedal to alter the mix of the delay, you're essentially lowering the mix % of the delay? I thought you had to keep the effect % at 100% to avoid phase problems?

Thanks again! :D

John

finally !

Actually When you use the switchable loop the mix its at 100%

Yes you can lower the mix of the delay with the expression pedal

You can manipulate the settings of the G system like the tremolo (faster , slower ) phaser , etc ....so your mix its at 100% , but the G system allows you to change it on the middle of the song ..

Hope I help you , you'll love your VH4 :)

Regards Pete

Thanks Pete,

But will having the mix set to 100% not hurt your tone?

And would lowering the mix of the delay with the pedal as you say not cause phase problems or is the pedal to control volume and not mix?

Thanks again!

John
