it is nuts. thick and loud as fuck!
jim wigle rules.
i didnt realize jim sent me proto #1 which means it did time with lynch and was prob the one that sat on the top of the head stack during his last few outtings.
if you want a plexi, def get int ouch with him!
it's much cheaper than getting a crummy marshall handwire

I would really like to hear some clips please. I've never heard this amp before. Ever since I saw this amp I've been very curious how it holds up to an original Plexi or if it sounds more like a hot rodded one.

to answer your question... BOTH.

there's a push pull that gives you auto jumpering with more gain. it's not a high gain head though.
it's more like-

in classic plexi mode it sounds like ac/dc straight up.
hivol pulled sounds like classic mercyful fate. first ep and "melissa".

jimmy is hands on. if you wanted something with more gain he could prob build one with an extra gain stage. he knows his shit and is very cool. but very busy (he makes amps for guys like lynch and me ;), is a tech privately AND is a tech at groove tubes) - so get him while you can!

I was at the sound check standing right in front of
George in Toronto last time he was here. He used that
amp and I heard it thru his Hiwatt cabs.
That thing sounds just incredible!!!!
The best tone I've ever heard Lynch achieve, live!

thanks guys!! if you guys are thinking about grabbing one- do it now! jimmys got more time right now ( i wont say free time, he is ALWAYS busy) and he might have some ready to go!

the bass knob just looks that way cos of the zanny little skull knobs.

i believe wigle's done some time with ratt, but as far as i know corabi has been solid with ratt lately as their rhythm guy.
i think jim was in btwn kelli keri and corabi.
jim has also done some time with a version of bang tango.
