OK I just changed strings and I switched from Fenders to D'Addarios.
The D'Addarios sound a little raspy compared to the Fenders. :?
I can hear a bigger difference between these strings than the two pedals.

Am I getting to anal about my tone or what? :D

Never tried Fenders, but I absolutely HATE D'Addarios!!
HATE THEM!

Shit! I have a box (10) of them. :D

I get them free...a show I'm playing in is sponsored by them...maybe I can trade them at a music store.

Maybe you can become an online D'Adario retailer or something!? :D

I like DR's... some folks think they're stiff, but I like 'em.

LOL :D

The Fenders sound nice and feel lighter than most strings of the same gauge...Fender 10's feel more like 9.5's....and Fender 9's are really slack feeling.

I think they're called Fender Bullets...they have a weight on the end rather than the little circle thingy. :D
Try the 9-42's...they feel so loose..shred city. ;)
Actually the lefty gimp mentioned that he uses them, that's why I picked up a pack to try them out.
