100w, sozo's, individual external bias points, Jose master etc

Great sounding amp and a bargain price.

I can see it looks great. I can't hear it though. hint hint....

Awesome! More awesome with cream chicken head knobs. ;)

I really wonder what the main differences are between the Yeti and the Standard? I ask because while I love my Chupa, it's actually a bit hotter than is really necessary for me. I'm perfectly happy with lower gain and a little boost. I wish mine was a bit less "modern". I also need to think about maybe a preamp tube change to tame it just a bit.

Just thinking out loud.

I'd really love to hear this amp A/B'd with a Chupa...

I don't get to play enough, so why do I want one of these so bad.

Would love to hear some clips.

YES!

That amp looks awesome man. My Ceriatone Plexi100 is used everyday here at the studio. Nik is awesome.

The only differences are a few component value changes. Nothing you probably can't do with the EQ. If you want less of a modern feel on the Chupa max the mids, throw the era switch to the far right, middle bright switch in the middle and far right bright switch to the left. Treble at 11:00, Presence at 11:00, bass at zero, resonance at 11:00, gains at noon. Greenbacks.

Thanks guys.

Nik did a great job and I'm really happy with how the amp came out. I was a little nervous when he mentioned cream and purple but everyone that has seen it thinks it looks pretty cool and kinda vintage. I need a headcase made up to keep it in good condition.

I'm not sure of the exact differences between the Chupa and Yeti but it isn't a super bright amp and does sound more vintage than the chupa clips I've heard. Kinda more like a classic hot rodded marshall with lots of saturation but without the piercing high end you sometimes get with a plexi. I find it bright enough and it has enough range on the controls for any sound I personally wish to get out of it.

Clips are still on my todo list. It's not easy with a baby here 24/7 though...the amp does not sound happy without some 'decent' volume behind it (this is also to do with my Orange cab...everything I've ever run through this cab - even little 15watters - just doesn't work well until it gets going).

I'll post some stuff as soon as I'm able anyway.

this is what turned me off on getting a chupa, as it sounded to heavy an modern in the clips I heard for my tastes. I love modded marshalls usually, maybe the yeti would be more up my alley. The chupa sounded nice in the clips from lugo's shootout but other then that I though the clips I heard sounded un marshalll like. I hope someone posts a good yeti demo, I want to hear it before buying one.

That is very cool - was it much of an upcharge for the tolex job?

That really is fantastic looking, might end up picking one of these up myself :D

I want to hear a clip of the Yeti to decide.. I hope the Yeti turn out to be a good high gain amp but a good Marshall vintage Voicing without sounding ,Fuzzy,Fizzy or Harsh ... Axe-Man What about the dynamics of the Yeti you find it a bit hard to control when there is a lot of gain?
