Who’s killing it out there? Who have you guys ordered from? Who has the best product for the price now that everyone has decided to Jack up their price to absurd levels. Thinking about getting something but lots of mixed info out there…
Seems like inconsistency is running rampant.

Had a Jackson come in recently that went back, was real disappointed as I’ve had nothing but good luck from them, granted it was used. Looked at Kiesel and they seemed to have really upped their game, but man so much negative things out there. Mayones I’ve heard tuning stability issues. ESP was mostly good info except as of late, what’s going on there?

I don’t have tuning issues with my Mayones.

check out Hufschmid. Killer hand-made guitars. I like mine a lot.

I have a 2013 Mayones Setius and 2012 Mayones Regius and they’re my main guitars, rock solid tuning.

Those look bad ass. Are they associated with dunable? Wonder what the deal is there… how’d they compare to big name brand?

I also want to try a Monson guitar. He has affordable models that are metal looking as fuck. The varikill and defiance are very nice looking.

Pretty sure McNaught will build you whatever you want. I'm having a X5 built right now and he's been willing to do every custom change I've asked for. When I had a Suhr built, they were really limited on custom changes. This will be my 3rd McNaught, best guitars I've ever played.

Wow his work looks great. How did it compare to your Suhr quality wise?

Check out Aristides. The built quality is always excellent, fretwork is insane and they actually sound great for the material they're made out of. You never have to worry about fret sprout, neck warping, fretboard cracks, tuning issues, etc.. I've got two on order now and I don't think I'll really order any other guitars.

I’ve been curious about them. Everyone seems to rave about their work. Are the bodies as round in person as they look on camera? Just one thing I have a hard time getting past, looks odd.

I have a Mayones, Aviator, and a chubtone. Love all 3. Planning on another one from each company in the near future.

Having my first McNaught built this year. My buddy has a couple and they play, look, and sound fantastic.

Dave is great to work with, but I would say double however long he says it's going to take to do the build. He said 6-9 months for me, but it'll be in the 12-18 month range. Mine is fully custom though. I picked the top, the fretboard, changed the scale length, custom inlay, new finish color etc. I think a solid metallic bolt on would be a lot quicker.

Christ, for $4-5k they better.
