With a few hours left to go there is no way actives are taking over in the last poll. So, we'll move onto the next; Pickup selection.
No one really had any input that didn't already mirror options I had suggested. So, if you don't like the choices, sorry. 🤷‍♀️
Would recommend checking out SD's website, Mike Stamper on YT, or others for comparisons as I cannot post every one.

Y'all may be familiar with some of these options. Tried to give a bit of variety to select from on top of what I felt would pair nicely with the specs.
Select your two favorite sets and the top choices will go to a runoff poll along with color options.
We're almost done! You can change your vote(s) up until the last moment.
This poll will close in 3 days.

Jupiter rails sound interesting, and Black Winters seem logical.

Have been interested in the Jupiter Rails, too.
Sounded great in demos, so felt they would be a good addition to options.
Probably would have selected those myself it's just that I know more for sure that I like the DB set with FR.
Tried my best to go through a lot of comparisons as well as my own experience for the choices.
Hopefully didn't leave anything major out.

I eluded to it in the previous thread, one of my old guitars (an early 90's MIJ Sabre, neck flamed out as fuck, tune o matic) had a XL-500 in the bridge. I was playing really heavy music and that pickup just felt so right. I wonder how the Jupiter compares. I miss that guitar more than any other.

Seems like they're all the rage.
I have an early 70s Bill Lawrence SG bass built by Framus or Hofner, maybe?
Has a circuit board and rosewood pickup covers.

Had occurred to me that if a set gets chosen that is available/compatible with covers; I can likely paint the graphic across them.

I like how Wes Hauch describes the Jupiters in this video. Makes me want to check 'em out even more now.

Couldn't you paint across the pickups even without covers?

I could, but it would be a pain to tape off and/or worry about the adjustable pole pieces getting stuck/breaking the paint when adjusted as well as any chemical reactions that may occur with formvar/enamel/poly coating on the pickup windings. With a cover I can just tack it to a baseplate install and adjust to approximate height, paint it, uninstall, remove cover from baseplate, and attach to pickup to be used.

Those are insane numbers

Funny, too because SD shows them as medium output.
Apparently they're for stoner doom sludge.
Their audio demo for them on the website is the worst. :ROFLMAO:

Is that really a Jazz Bridge/Jazz or is it a JB/Jazz combo?

Anybody know how the Black Winter neck compares to the Sentient neck? 13K and ceramic just seems like...a lot.

I know nothing of the comparison, so apologies, but I am kind of weird and have always hated neck pickups.

I like to try new things just to know, and put a Gibson 500t (16k ish resistance, ceramic), which is very similar to a Duncan sh6, in the neck position of my sg. It is awesome. Just have to lower it a smidge.

Like it far more than a traditional neck pickup. So if that is any indication, it should be fine. From my understanding, the reading isn't the only thing that matters.

May not be everyone's tastes, but should sound great.🤘

Voted Pegasus and Sentient set as well as 78 set I'd probably go 78 between those two though ^_^
