Hey all,

How many high gain amps are there out there that have built in noise gates?

A few Engls have them and the Driftwood Purple Nightmare has one as well.

my 2203kk,engl ext aggro, and dar fbm all have gates.

Jvm Satch model, and is it the Egnater that has a decimator?

Schecter Hellwin (Avenged Sevenfold's Synyster Gates signature amp head).

My Hughes & Kettner Triamp MK3 has one of the best onboard noisegates I have ever heard. It rivals my ISP stuff.

My Satch JVM also has a really, really good gate. 4 separate gates for each channel. Pretty cool.

The new Peavey Invective, it is an input gate though, won't get rid of pre amp hiss but will get you a nice tight clean signal.

Can't wait to get this one

The Invective does look cool. Lots of neat features.

I have an H&K Grandmeister 36 and I actually like the gate on it.

-I've noticed most amps with gates are superior to the best aftermarket stuff, must be a "placement" thing

The Peavey Ultra Plus does officially have one, but when I went to profile it with a Kemper it failed. CK wrote back that it is one of few amps (I never knew of another) that could not be profiled, this one due a noise reduction detected in the circuit. That amp sounded way cool and felt fantastic... wish I kept that one

My Mesa Boogie JP2C doesn't need one. Max gain, no hiss.
