New MGL50 Unboxing Vid

The new MGl50 is in the house to give it a run thru. I had some fun with the unboxing video, never done one before.
The amp is right in line with my MGL100 sound wise. Big and open with Marshall bite in the mids, lots of gain, classic to rip your head off. All the same features and switches as the 100 has.

This new 50w will be listed on the MGL amp site in the next few days. This new amp is replacing the Red Circuit 50w. Completely new chassis and layout. We’re using the same higher voltage MGL spec Heyboer power transformer that is in the MGL100. Yes, it’s overkill for a 50w. But it works great with tons of reserve and who complains bigger iron! Amp has 2 masters & 2 gains. Amps can be ordered with dirty & clean channels or 2 dirty channels.
