I recently changed the pickups in my strat with a Suhr Asatobucker and a pair of V63+ singles. So far, I am really enjoying these pickups. The singles definitely get that early 60s vibe and have just the right amount of top end sparkle and glass. Hendrix tones are all there. The Asatobucker is a very interesting pickup. Think of it as a Thornbucker Plus with some extra bottom end. Cleanish tones have a nice sparkle, but under gain it behaves more like a higher output pickup. Very musical and fluid. Anyway... here's a quick vid I did with them.
