Ibanez JD9 Jet Drive Overdrive

I have never seen one of these things and didn't know this model existed. Looks like an ST9Pro+

I have that and the ST9 pro+. They are not even close to being the same. The JD-9 has less volume so it doesn’t push an amp as hard as I like and mid knob controls 650hz which makes a lot of amps sound a little too boxy if your amp is mid heavy sounding as it is.

ST9P+ is more flexible and has more than enough volume to push the amp where you want it and has the ability to run 18v for more headroom, which I love for certain amps. JD9 is forgettable other than its cool orange color lol

If you want something else unique in the 9 series pedals, you can also try an SD9M. Sounds better than the JD9 and more tonal options
