For some odd reason, I've been listening to the first Coal Chamber album. Nu-Metal tuned down to B going into a Marshall JCM 800. The music isn't that impressive, and the lyrics suck. I just like the way it sits in the mix. You could even hear him live (using JCM 900 live).

After that... The Smiths, some Faith No More, a band called Vexxes, older AIC and MrBallen on YouTube. Hahahaha

I've been on a Zeppelin binge lately...the companion discs and live shows. Best band ever, and when they were on, they were ON.

Zep companion discs...72 songs! This tune starts the playlist:

Zep live shows.

Royal Albert Hall, 1970:

Two different upgrades of the Tokyo '71 gig:

Madison Square Garden, 1973:

Most people are unaware of this live version of "Thank You" from the July 29 '73 Madison Square Garden gig. Last song of the night, last show of the 3 night stand at MSG in ‘73, last of the 3 shows used for TSRTS, last show of the ‘73 tour, last show before things started to go wrong, last live performance of the song by the 4 of them:

A few years back RaceU4her pumped out a killer Coal Chamber clip.

I've been on a metal kick lately. My drop A 7 string band just acquired a new bassist with some serious technical skill, and I'm back in the mindset of writing more challenging riffs for the first time in a while.

Just got this CD - DarWin "Five Steps On The Sun". I love this group...big fan of Prog Rock !

I had the Surf Nicaragua cassette back in the day and have revisited Sacred Reich. Nice tune:

Those palm mutes at around 30 seconds are making me want a Freyette….
