Start it at 3:15. Reb told a story where he ran into Richie Sambora, who stopped him in a hallway and said, "Congrats." Reb: For what? Richie: Having the longest guitar solo on the radio ever." ...Not sure if the 'ever' part was accurate, but that's the lore.

Lmao - he told that story at a guitar clinic a couple of weeks ago

There are SOOO many good outro/fade out solos

His playing and guitar sound are just plain unreal on that track. I think it's one of his Top 5 solos.
The solo in Big River is insane. I wish I could hear that solo with the Fair Warning tone.

How has arguably the greatest solo ever written not been mentioned yet??

Comfortably Numb has not 1 but 2 amazing solos

I read your post and decided to listen the whole "A Different Kind of Truth" album again. I saw that there's an LP Vinyl mix version. I'm listening to it now and holy shit, it's got me smiling from ear to ear. I LOVE this version! It's like getting pummeled in the face with a sledgehammer. Thanks, man! Here's the link to the playlist:

Yall gonna laugh cuz it's Tim McGraw, but the outro solo is played by Dann Huff and it's amazing. Enjoy
