@4406cuda Yeah, the guy that had hacked you had contacted me today around the same time he posted these items for sale here (about 3:00).
I was purchasing the PS-100 from
@John4021 and 4406cuda said PM'd me with one for sale.
It was a good price @ $750 and I figured that I use a second one for a stereo setup.
I had requested the PayPal email address for payment, and once I had entered it, then I had found there was no name associated with that PayPal email address.
I had asked him to verify his identity along with asking him to answer some other questions.
Some definite red flags started to appear based upon our back-and-forth messages.
Also, I had noticed his writing style was definitely different than ones he had provided in the past.
I don't believe English is his native language based upon his replies.
I have attached a snapshot of some of his replies.
I am glad that my gut had said not to trust this purchase
Last week I had a chance to purchase another device from someone in the Fractal Forum and there were some similar issues as well.
I had decided not to purchase that one as well and the person had completely deleted there post right afterwards.
I had ended the conversation with the person, and I was polite about it, since it might have been a legit offer and conversation, but now it has been confirmed that it was a scammer.
I had found it interesting that the person had also locked the conversation right afterwards so we couldn't continue the conversation.
