Cool guitar for 1300.

Wait, it's not 2014 anymore? Damn.

I laugh at an 85 LP Silverburst going for 5500. A Peavey Wolfgang?? Jesus balls.
The silverburst was always one of the silliest ones to me. Pay so much for a less attractive LP and being an '80's Custom also more likely to have that dead furniture with strings attached sound to it. What a great combo all just because of the Adam Jones association. It'll make any amp sound like a Blueface guaranteed

I am rich then!!!!😂😂

I also have a green flame, purple flame and a black one. Peavey that is.

Fricken sold mine for $1000 many years ago......duh. Why did I do that?!?

meh, just get one of those new Iconic EL34 amps with the built-in brown sound.

I bought a Peavey Wolfgang Std. in Purple a number of years ago, I think I got it as a "backup" to the Axis I had then. I paid $500 shipped and it was in like-new condition. I used it quite a bit, but its still as purple as the day it arrived, though I keep it safely in its case.

This reminds me of the guys trying to get 3 grand for Tom Delonge MIM Strats a few years back. The reissues ruined their days - big time.

Just cuz Ed croaked folks think there mexican amps & guitars are suddenly $5K.
Ed would still be with us if he hadn't turned his windpipe into a human chimney.

A bunch of people got burned, way overpaying for an Axis EX, paying $3.5K & upwards for a guitar with a veneer top. They took it as gospel what some random person posted on the Web about Ernie Ball sending EVH signature parts to Japan after EB stopped manufacturing the guitar.

I don't get why guitars that had long stopped being built before Ed's passing skyrocketed in price after his passing. EBMM and Peavey were never going to start making them again. I have two of the EBMM EVHs and they're so awesome and I got them pretty cheap. But they're no more rare now than they were 20 yrs. ago. Funny thing about the EBMM EVHs is that I think everyone who has one has several of them. So while they made a bunch of them, the owners club is kind of small.

I have an original purple from 93 and it is still a very dark purple. Always sat in it's case though.

I also have a first year Peavey in purple lime this one we are talking about. 5K!!!!!!! I paid $800 for it way back.

Wahhhh
Yea I remember when Lentine's Music in Akron, OH had these and they were under $1K new...
