while not a guitar I use often, always liked archtops.

Recently sold my D'Angelico EXL-1 in blueburst:

Still have my Harmony Cremona V, mid-late 1930s:

Plan to get another archtop with a pickup eventually; non-cutaway.

I played a 58 ES-125 for like a year straight and wanted to gig it, but it was just so finicky when it came to tuning stability and humidity. But I love them

I let go of a nice late 90's Guild X-170 recently. Really sweet guitar but I just couldn't live with the lack of upper fret access and it's pretty much a no go for gigs most of the year with the heat and sweat. My #1 is a semi hollow.

I know there is not a lot of PRS love around here, but my fave is my JA-15 model.

I love Archtop guitars as long as they are playable and have low action. I had a 70s ES175 copy by Ventura years ago I bought for 300 bucks. It was awesome and I should have hung onto it and never sold it, but we all have stories like that. It was so much fun. It depends on your application of course. In a rock n roll context, it was not great. I also rocked a 335 for so many years and that was killer (although not really an archtop I know)
