Went pawn shop browsing last weekend and came across a decent score. Appears to be an older LTD KH-202 stripped body, and a bag of all of its hardware and electronics for $24. No cracks at the neck pocket!
Now, aside from waiting for the right neck to pop up on flEbay or Reverb, what other options should I look at? Not really opposed to a brand new neck considering how little I'm in this already, but also don't want to outpace it with something expensive.
