I've actually never seen a guy make that many pedal switches in one song i.e the top video in the OP. He was literally clicking a new pedal every four bars at one point. He looked like he was a professionally trained tap dancer. I just kinda shook my head cause a player with that massive talent level doesn't need an 8 foot pedal board like that. Like some kid who has to include every color crayon from the big crayola set into his drawing. It just looks like barf when you're done. And none of the tone switches he made really added a damn thing to the song. He could've had the same effect with a few pedals. It actually took away from the music. Just my opinion.
 
Check out Schizoid, Into The Unknown and Shedding skin as well as the Edwin Dare stuff. I really love his early stuff.
