Unicorn Part 1/ First Post

Hello all!

I am making my debut post in this community with one of my favorite acquisitions. Below you will find pics of my 2021 Jackson Custom Shop Dave Davidson 7 string Warrior in Lamborghini yellow. I bought this beauty off of a collector on reverb and it came dead nuts mint. I wasn’t too sure how much I would get along with it since I didn’t take too much of a shine to my USA Custom Shop Mick Thomson Soloist Carbon Fiber but Jackson did a great job on this one. This is supposedly 1 of 2, the other being the guitar they sent to Dave but idk how true that info is. Thanks for looking.

I might have missed a “New Member Intro” section and if I did please let me know and I will make a more formal intro. Happy to be here.

I could never cope with the pricing and wait times on this big name custom shops, especially Fender era.

Kelly with fixed bridge would be cool though. Maybe with something like Hipshot hardtail.

How much does the headstock tip stick into the side of the case? Unless they redesigned the case at some point, I have the same one and when I put a reverse headstock neck on my Warrior it was too tight for my comfort, the tip was sticking into the side a bit...it felt like if the case tipped over it could snap the headstock or something.

Someone cut a hole in this case so the headstock tip resides in the case lol. You’re right though, for these models they really need to look into a potential redesign.
