It was actually a great show. Those guys are 70 + years old and you can tell they still love to play those songs. All the vocals and backups are still there too. Of all the geezer age stuff going on, these guys delivered the goods!
Aside from Mr Robato (I hate that song) the set list was great stuff.
If you like them, check them out if you get a chance

That's cool. I have say, James Young is a major reason I got into playing guitar.
The sound of his and Tommy Shaw's guitars on Come sail Away still blows me away!!
it's great to hear they still rock!

My Dad had a van with an 8-track and The Grand Illusion was one of 'my' 8-tracks...along with Band of Gypsys and Best of The James Gang. I still think that's a great record with some cool guitar work.

And I can still hear the songs fade out...then a kachunk...then the songs fade back in like they did with 8-track. To this day I STILL anticipate that. :ROFLMAO:

Long ago I bought a box of 8 tracks for like 5 bucks at a garage sale. Zep, Styx, Nazareth, Foreigner, etc....Castle Walls was my fav Styx tune for a long time. Renegade too.

Castle Walls was a fave of mine too. The 8-track faded out during Castle Walls right during the climactic part!

Yeah, Come Sail Away was killer, the whole crowd sang every word of it at the top of their lungs.
Great stuff 🤘
