Does the big max do high gain? I thought the Paul was the Marshall sounding Diezel and the Big Max was more of a clean pedal platform.
Oh yea it does high gain all day bro.Does the big max do high gain? I thought the Paul was the Marshall sounding Diezel and the Big Max was more of a clean pedal platform.
I've had this amp for 18 months and I completely agree. Flies way under the radar. The terrible name doesn't help and the misconception (which I originally had) that it's just a clean pedal platform amp. This one really works because it kind of sounds like a Diezel blended with a Marshall which is something that tons of guys do anyway (blending VH4 with a Marshall)I've been with this amp for about 3 days now and I continue to be impressed by it. I'm telling you guys, this thing is incredible. Traditional Diezel tones, thick and bold, or if you want more OG Marshall tones, dial down the bass and depth and you're right there. Sounds like a JCM800 on steroids. Feels very good under the fingers and the FX loop typical for Diezel is fantastic. I cannot believe this amp isn't making more noise.
Agree 100%. Really great sounding amp. Best Diezel I’ve had and at a great priceI've had this amp for 18 months and I completely agree. Flies way under the radar. Had the paulHow does the Paul compare to the Big Max ?
There’s a noticeable volume increase when switching to the High sensitivity so I wouldn’t think so.Can you switch between the lo and hi inputs with an A/B switcher on the Big Max?
