Langner DCP-1 on Reverb

I saw that, and it is very tempting.

Great price, but it makes me wonder if the exact same component values were used, when they were replaced......and WHO did the replacing. It also seems to have a lot of surface rust inside of the enclosure, so if it was left in a moist storage area for a long time, could that have led to the component changes?
 
Interesting. Wondering if this is the one I sold to a friend in the Chattanooga area decades ago. Pelham TN isn't that far away and this looks like one of Todd's original pieces with the non anodized front panel and the stickers on the back. Looks exactly like the first one I owned and I'm pretty sure the only guys in the Chattanooga/Nashville area that knew anything about Todd at that time was me and the guy that introduced me to Todd. I might email the seller and see if they know the history. Then again , who knows.

That was a killer deal, first release. Creator model and hope it went to someone here.
 
If anyone was jealous of me snagging the Langner like… don’t be. Horrendous.

That suuuuucks. Shipping has become the biggest Achilles heel of any distant transaction. Scammers occur but as of the past year we hear about shipping nightmares. That sucks. 🫤. And it’s not like another one to be had

I hit up reverb support … not sure if the seller used safe ship via them but if so they usually will offer a chunk off to not deal with an item going to them to sell as damaged at a discount anyway in their reverb page
