The tone in the video was one of the best I have heard from him.

Am I wrong- I thought Man in the Box main riff had that 7th tone in there that made it very distinctive (and I think MAB just skipped that?)

I think Batio is awesome. Doesn't take himself too seriously and knows he is a pinball machine. No question he loves guitar and you can tell he wants the best for everyone and respects the legends that put guitar playing on the map.

Yes, that voicing gave the original riff so much tension! Can't believe it was omitted here, especially if deliberate

Ok… I’m an NOT mad at this. Yeah he plays the main riff wrong, and that’s a weird choice BUT, and especially given it’s MAB, that lead section was pretty god damn tasty! Like he had some nice melodic runs in there that I think were killer.

I batio'd in a box once. Wasn't bad (except for the chaffing). It even had a resting post for my balls.:

Much better than I thought it would be (the song, not the box). The singer was surprisingly good and killed it.

That clean groove in the bookends of the solo worked really well for me
