VH-4 and fuzz pedals

I was curious if there were any players out there that use fuzz pedals with their Diezel amps, in particular the VH-4, and to get their thoughts on the sound? I've done some searching and I haven't been able to find any examples of this, so I'm curious how these amps take fuzz pedals to get into the more doom territory (Sleep, High on Fire, The Obsessed, Sunn). If anyone has any examples of this, it would be really appreciated.

Just a bit of background on the question. I've been wanting a VH-4 for a long time (I'm not going to deny it's mainly for that channel 3 Adam Jones type tone, but it's not the only reason), but living in North America the prices have been out of my budget. I'm soon to be moving to Europe for a while so I'm thinking that this is the opportunity to finally get a Diezel. I'm planning on bringing a few pedals with me, but I want to see if it's even worth brining any of my fuzzes.

I think it could work well on Ch. 1, which has nice headroom and powerful lows if you want.

Thanks for the reply and that's what I was thinking of doing, I just wasn't sure how well it would work, but I'm glad to hear that it could work. Also I'm not looking at using this amp solely for that purpose, but I'd like it to be able to cover that sound as well as I'm not going to have anything more than a single amp for a while.

VH4 will pretty much cover all your bases in one amp. It's one of the great desert island amps for sure.

Channel 1 and 2 will do. Different sounds, though, in each channel. I use a selfmade axis fuzz.

Excellent, glad to hear that. I'm currently using a JCM 800 2203kk with a whole bunch of self made fuzzes too and I'm liking the tones I get out of it. Considering some of the comparisons of the VH4's channel 2 to Marshalls, I was hoping it would work well enough too. Now I'll just need to see what sort of cab I can find (and be able to use) once in Europe.

That is so cool! I have been toying with the idea of getting the 2203kk since I've never had a Marshall. I would love to use it with my Olsson Fuzztner. Do yoy have any clips?

The only other Marshall I played was a 2203x and it was through a different cab than I have currently, so I don't have much to compare with. Even though the kk has KT88s, it's still a Marshall and to my ears it still has that familiar tone. I bought the kk when it was first released and I've been quite happy with it, haven't felt the need to change. In "normal" mode it sounds like a Marshall so just put an OD or dirt pedal up front to get your high gain tones, and with the beast mode engaged it has thrash covered really well.

I don't have any clips to share, other than some amateur playing recorded on an iPhone which wouldn't do the amp justice I don't think (neither the recording quality nor the playing quality)
