CNN last night

I think CNN is trying to do a better job of representing both sides these days. It's still firmly to the left, and it's all probably too little too late, but at least you see some discussion about it on that network, unlike MSNBC or Fox.
That was a prerecorded interview edited to make her look good. It was like a big advertisement

I'm thinking sailboat & Caribbean or Asia; also considering another US island further away from the mainland than the one I'm on now.

there are a few citizenship by investment (cost more, less time) and retiree visas (costs less, takes more time to become resident or citizen) options.
I know a guy who was a journalist covering Europe for Reuters.

He thinks there is one place to go.

I think he may be correct.

If or when you have health issues.......that has to factor in as well.

Some places in central and south American (Uruguay, Panama, Belize), Eastern Europe (such as Hungary, Georgia, Armenia);

I have no interest in being in Europe; when jihad or WW3 kick off, western Europe is ground zero. For me Caribbean, Asia, South Pacific, two depend on sailing. There are also new extended tourist and retiree visas that let you stay in country 3 months or 3 years, and you can restart the counter by leaving for a day or two and going back; and repeat indefinitely - which is subject to change; need to see if that counts as residency time for naturalization...each country has different requirements.

Once I retire, if I forego the sailboat (age, health, finances, etc.) I'll probably travel to a few countries in Asia, and stay awhile in each to see which I like best... or move to a more distant US island.

I watched CNN last night for maybe 3 or 4 hours straight. Not intently, just background "news". I do that from time to time to see what the other half is being fed. Mainly wanted CNN's clips of Kamala's interview. I already know how Fox will spin it. What was surprising was how many of the post interview commentators were not thrilled with her answers and her flip flopping on her 'policies'. There were maybe 20 different commentator over the 3 or 4 segments I watched. Sure there were a few that gloated over her or felt some of the complaints were not a big deal but I'm wondering if this is now the beginning of the decline of her campaign as it didn't seem like any kind of jump start?

Thoughts on that or the interview in general?

(Heading to the cabin, so you can all fight internally if you like) :poke:
Well I can't see how the greenies, EV people, Anti-fracking people or open border people can be that thrilled with her after the little prerecorded ad she did.
