I feel ya Brother 3 but it's pure comedy so a mod's gonna mod.
At least the "Comedy" section's title will appear in bold to show that there's a new thread, as will the thread's title itself of course.
Thing is, if peeps want laughs specifically then it pays to have this stuff gathered into one place, the raison d'être for the section.

Just an idea
Maybe let 'em ride on the General for a day or two and let it get some traction and then 'archive' it in one of your sub forums for posterity after a thread dies out.
I mean, if you took that rule to the bank, then 3/4s of all the threads now, which are political, would be in a 'Politics' sub forum.
Either way, I respect your decisions.

Another thing to consider:
If 75% are political, 24% miscellaneous and 1% "pure" comedy, how would peeps find that 1% if all they wanted was a quick laugh?
The answer is you can't. You might get lucky with the odd title-word search but yeah... na... not gonna work.

It goes without saying that the aforementioned reasoning applies to all the categories that've been singled-out for their own sub-forums - shit's just easier-to-find this way.
Silly little real-life example from today:
I hear Brother 3's just returned from his Greek holiday and has shared some juicy details. Where to look? Click "Holiday Destinations" and viola, there it is top-of-list.
