Blue LED intermittent on channel 2 of Diezel Einstein 50

as title says, sometime the blue LED lights and sometimes it does not.

does anyone know if this behaviour is usually a result of the LED itself failing or might it be many things and one would need to check. (Peter?)

If it's far more likely it's the LED itself failing I could probably tackle replacing it myself. But I would probably struggle to trace the issue to a number of other unknown causes.

Appreciate any info.

Probably the LED, I had a Herbert MK1 that had multiple LED failures. I emailed them and they sent me replacements for free. They said they got a bad batch of LED's from their supplier. They were not easy to replace though.

thank you for the info. I'm less confident now to replace it! I will take a look though and possibly contact diezel to see if the serial number was affected by the bad batch. not expecting anything given the year of manufacture but any thing might help.
