Double Hernia op tomorrow 9/13/24

I've had two when I was 12-13, that was my experience. You mentioned esophagus so I thought you were speaking about hiatal hernias as my grandfather suffered from that condition.
Mine was incisional. They split my abdominal wall. Looks almost like heart surgery. Didn’t tell me not to lift anything. Guess how that worked out? So yeah definitely a different type than your standard hernia repair.

Make sure you have a minimum of four months to kill. It was painful. It’s still sore especially on the outside mid-calf. Are you near Nashville? If so I can recommend an amazing surgeon at Vanderbilt.
I’m retired so I have nothing but time. No I’m in wv…

Had hernia surgery (umbillical) about 5 years ago. Not a good experience at all. Wishing you the best sir, along with a speedy recovery.

Im recovery. All ok
No major pains. Yet anyway

Just tell doc either he gives you the bottle or you're stopping at the Liq to pick up a handle of Wild Turkey 101. It might change his mind. Very glad to hear you came out the other side intact Mach 1. Rest up and get back to us soon.
