Anybody know which channel? It has 4 channels. And is the Mysankov Big Fish a decent clone?
His are modded so that the Shark channel is now the most aggressive high gain channel instead of the normal Vox/Hiwatt/horrible sounding tone that it has stock. The Brown channel will get you in the ballpark, but the modded Shark channel will get you closer to his tone than anything else. I had a modded Fish I ran through a Mesa 2:90 and it sounded godlike. He used those from Dirt up until Black Gives Way To Blue.

WOW....not one single Beato is a douchecake asshole cuntface blah blah blah comment yet. Good job gentlemen...Keep it up!!

On another note, no mention of that modded Fender bassman or whatever Fender amp it was that was used on Facelift. Still wonder if there's any merit to that.

Not Cantrell related but definitely AIC related.

My main bass rig. Sorry for the shitty, mirror pic. I am extremely lazy.

Facelift tone is THE AIC tone for me. Which, was either a slightly modded boosted 65 Bassman OR the Snorkler(Dude who owns the Snorkler said the Marshall was used for Leads, and cleans while the Bassman was the dirty Rhythm).....
But, if you can locate the We Die Young demo, Jerry used his Randall RG100es, and it sounds almost spot on to the record. Clearly it's how he dials it, and everything in his signal chain contributes.
I think his tone sounds better on the "We Die Young" Demo, i love the tone he got with his old rg80es. He used some solid state stuff after that too, like a Mosvalve power amp with his Bogner Fish during the Dirt tour, and part of that Dirt tone (the highs) is actually a Rockman, it was blended in with a couple other amps.
