I’d swear he said he is not a Les Paul guy.I think he said he voiced his amps with a Les Paul with a Motor City 2nd Degree Black Belt pickup.
Does someone know if he talked about his guitars in one of his videos ?

Interesting...has anyone seen dave and marty in tthe same room at the same time?Is there any video proof that Dave can actually play guitar? I’ve heard him talk at length about what gear he prefers, but have never seen him play. Not one note or E chord. There’s always someone else demoing his stuff. I’ve seen Bogner, Soldano, Splawn, PRS, and Fryette, demo & play. But nothing from uncle Dave. I’m thinking there’s probably a reason.
If I’m remembering correctly, he’s mentioned that he dreamed of being a rockstar but realized he’s average at best an much better at tinkering with amps. I can’t remember if that was on tone-talk or an interview. Is there any video proof that Dave can actually play guitar? And Joe likes PRS because he’s a sissy
Jason from Headfirst mention on some video now he's seen Dave shred in real life, so it sounds more like he just doesn't like putting his playing in the public eye.Is there any video proof that Dave can actually play guitar? Not knocking his amps. I’ve owned one for a decade. Point is when it comes to a players preference in gear, pickups, strings, pedals, etc it’s nice to put a playing style/tone with it.Jason from Headfirst mention on some video now he's seen Dave shred in real life, so it sounds more like he just doesn't like putting his playing in the public eye.
But even if he was a shit guitarist, how many legendary amps have been made by dudes who don't even playing guitar lol.
