I’d honestly have to agree sadlySplatty attack, woofy low end, weird fizzy overtones and there’s some kind of hashy noise surrounding the notes always present. I’m sorry but this sounds particularly terrible to me.
Cheer up man. Since we’re in agreement, you’ve just escaped a zinger attempt. FOR NOW…I’d honestly have to agree sadly

I didn't think it sounded that great in this demo either, but Jason showed me this before, which sounded much better, IMO.
An OD into the front or his internal boosts (not sure if this amp has them like the Alta I own) fixes that in an instant. Even wizards are woofy and loose without an OD into the front
I owned a 100w MC II MK II and for string clarity a Slo 100 or my Alta is far better. Of course this is all subjective and the context is the tones your seeking. The MC50 I used to own had the tightest attack out of any amp, and most pedals, I've ever played. Nothing woofy or loose about it. Punchy, tight, open and raw. Almost clinical, it was. No od needed here.

I have and prefer an SLO100, too. Its not near as frog butt tight, but has more body and punch. I wish I could keep em all too!!I owned a 100w MC II MK II and for string clarity a Slo 100 or my Alta is far better. Of course this is all subjective and the context is the tones your seeking.
Wizards have punch tons of gain = less note separation. Great amps and I wish I could keep them all but only keep what my ears like the best.
Cheers!

Good to know! What do you push the front end of the Slo 100 with? I used the classic SD-1 and a Tumnus. I have a Friedman golden pearl that I like a lot. A TS type pedal without the mid hump. great for an already hi gain ampI have and prefer an SLO100, too. Its not near as frog butt tight, but has more body and punch. I wish I could keep em all too!!
Klone or Timmy, mostly. They let me dial in the bass and mids where I like em.Good to know! What do you push the front end of the Slo 100 with? I used the classic SD-1 and a Tumnus. Once I sell some gear I will buy my last Slo 100. Nothings moving and they are asking way too much on Reverb for them. Odd combo
Sorry to derail here -MY Headfirst ALTA is my fav!!!!
