...the amount of absolute tire kicking bullshit you deal with, selling on places like marketplace and Facebook groups is atrocious to a high degree. Soooo many messages.
From the most hilarious lowball shit, to trying to sell the lowball offers "Dude diezel just isn't as popular anymore nobody really wants them, I know a dude who just sold a herbert for like $1800" proceeds to send me a screenshot of a scammed post that was taken down as evidence of his "points"
Then it's "I'll trade a gorilla amp + $300" Type shit. Man. The nation is so fuckin broke right now it's not even funny. Selling used to be a treat honestly. Now it's apparently a whole ass nightmarish experience.
And sadly, why reverb and ebay continue to be successful I think. Even with their extravagant fees. It really does simplify the process and basically eliminates the spam and tire kicking bullllllshit. Seriously surprised, I didnt remember it being this bad. But then again, most my past sales were on the reverb platform so maybe it's always been this shitty outside of those platforms not sure.
Within 24 hours or less it feels like I fully jumped into an abandoned flooded musty humid basement trying to sell a like new herbert. What the hell is going on out here?
Edit: I'm just bitching before caving in and listing it on ebay and reverb. I hate their fees and don't believe in taxes. We are in a gear slump. No beuno.
