Just popped on to their site and noticed that they're not offering 4x12 or 2x12 cabs...if I'm reading it right. kind of looks like their ramping down and selling off what they have. sign of the times? anyone know anything?

There was another cabinet maker that stopped making 4x12 cabs IIRC.

sign of the times.

smaller, lower power amps.
digital modelers, FRFR cabs

Also expensive as fuck to ship 4x12s. I know that's why V Boutique stopped doing them. Had to talk him into doing mine and that was pre-COVID.

Hey everyone, after much consideration, and for too many reasons to list, I decided a few months ago the time is right to close up shop, and have done so. Almost 20 years in business was a good run, and I have been honored and blessed to build cabinets for many fine folks, and made quite a few friends along the way. I'll keep the site open until roughly spring, email & FB page will always be available to answer questions etc. The only items I'll have available are what’s listed for sale on the website/Facebook-a couple of quads of speakers, a head cab etc.

I appreciate everyone's support, thanks very much!

I feel lucky to have scored a Stoneage 4x12 in 2022, direct from John. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer built cabinet (maybe a Kerry Wright? Dunno, never seen one in person) . I'm sad to hear you're closing up shop, but can imagine the market isn't getting any kinder to cab builders. Thanks for sticking with it for 20 years my friend!

Man this is sad news but yes, he’s getting out of the business.

I have a total of 6 StoneAge cabs. I’ll buy more if I see them pop up.

Keep up the great work on those killer YT videos, my friend!
