When a forum comes together for someone...

Gear companies have realized social media influencers are today's "rock stars". Very few of these social media "stars" have played in bands, played live shows, etc. before becoming social media "stars". Even then, I'm still disappointed with EBMM giving Fluff and Rabea signature models, doesn't fit alongside Lukather, Petrucci, Morse Abasi (not really a sig, it's a co-design), Lee, Richardson, St. Vincent, ... IMO, but it's their business to run not mine. It certainly diminishes the EBMM brand for me, though I plan to get another Majesty 6.

This is how younger people find music / musicians. This is how young people find gear, apparently. It's a different world.

I've owned, still own, a few sig guitars of guitarists I like, FWIW. Unless the specs are amazing for the price, I won't buy an influencer sig.

IMO

She always seems genuine and human in her videos. I appreciate her ripping those Dime riffs. Aside from Zakk being friends with Dime, Wes Hauch would have been killer on that reunion as well.

I’m all for donating to a good cause and people actually in need, but shittttt nah am I donating to some chick playing nothing but covers from what I can tell who is telling about all the free gear she’s being offered already, there’s Griffin Analog pedals I need
I was thinking of the Griffin Analog pedals I'd like to have just last night LOL I can think of at least 3 at the moment.

Fluff and Rabea to be fair do have bands and tour, but i understand what you are saying, the bare requirement for sig gear should be you have to have written at least one riff lol. Maybe i missed it, but i saw no original music at all on her page, just covers and gear reviews. i just find it amazing how woman these days can basically make a page on whatever site, mention they want something which they cant get for whatever reason, and dudes will just line up to buy or donate for them when they get literally nothing in return.

Pairs good with your signature!
It is because I’m thinking ahead

Fluff and Rabea may have bands, but I suspect most people don't know them because of their bands. Not sure where/how Fluff emerged, but he did, on social media afaik, not because of his band / music, Rabea was sidekick to Chapman on Anderton's YT vids for years, then the Anderton's "the sound like..." series before becoming his own "social media brand".

I'm sure they both mentioned their bands in their gear reviews, but I'd never heard of them, nor did I seek their band vids or touring schedules.

By the way, I do actually qualify for “in need” with third world salaries here lol

Do I get a IIC+ now? 😂

Fluff was a forum guy a long time ago, him and ola and the rest though got on youtube early with the pro kind of videos and did their thing and here we are, they are the new stars. Fluff i remember doing a lot of tour vlogs and stuff a while back, while these dudes might not know be known for their bands, at least they have done it and kind of built their channels somewhat with their bands.

When Kramer messes up a girl, everybody white knighting.

When Mesa didn’t give me a IIc+, nobody stood for me.

She still had Kramer, and I still have no Mark. Injustice.
Title IX violation, gender discrimination.
So, why does this YouTube girl deserve a signature guitar?
Cuz she does Pantera covers like no other & was considered, directly contacted, by Pantera for their tour.

There are a lot of good guitar players, youtube personalities, who are quality players but I haven't heard a lot of stuff that interested me musically as a whole. Some of the Nashville session dudes, that outside of winning guitar olympics, aren't making anything much more interesting than the bro country they get paid to record on. Yet I still dig their channels for guitar lick ideas, gear, and playing knowledge.

Hahahha, the way our Government is you might just get a fasfa before a citizen
This is true in many states. Many illegal residents who are studying in a U.S. (community) college receive federal financial aid with the help of the college's Financial Aid Department.
