Hey yo
So I finally pulled the trigger on my favorite metal amp and my GC guy brings out the box, says EL34 on it and 001/2368. At first I was like.... really?????
1) I'll assume the pandemic tube issues are a factor and not that Peter now prefers the EL34 vs KT77 in his amps?
2) How in the world is Guitar Center warehouse in Cali sitting on a NIB 001 Herbert this late in 2024?
That was a pleasant surprise (because I'll make up fake stories on how I got it now, LOL) or is there a story on this amp those in the know would like to share? Hahaha
Dusted of my old Behringer FC1010 and got it to quickly talk to the Herbert and even do Ch3 with midi cut and then another pedal option that's Ch3 without mid cut but with V2 on for solo volume bumps, nice.
Such a killer tone and then such a quiet noise floor, the best engineering.
