Anyone come across any just absolutely ridiculous deals lately?

Call me a simpleton, but I've always liked the Marshall DSLs. Went onto reverb at the right time today to find a DSL20 head for 209 shipped. Granted it's open box from ProAudioStar, so we'll see how it goes from here.

Good luck....they sent me a brand new interface without any packaging except the factory packaging, by ground no less....surprisingly it works.

I've had mixed results with the two orders I've placed with them. One was for a Jackson 7 string...came with a chip in the finish and a dead fret. Returned. The RE-202 they sent me was basically new in box for 49% off or some ridiculous shit. We'll see what happens here.

I've honestly wanted to try a Chibson. I don't care if someone puts a sticker on the back saying it's Chibson, or lightly etches it in or something. As long as the parts line up and everything plays well together, I'd like to try one. They do have some really cool looking guitars they do.
 
I found what I consider a good deal on a Marshall 2100 JCM 900 SL-X with 5881 power tubes.

Was looking at it before Helene, we lost power for about 2 -2.5 days, and I said if it's still available I'm buying it; made an offer and it was accepted. Due for delivery tomorrow.

I got an Aliexpress guitar; it was very good for the price, not perfect. got another, and the finish was disappointing, though just the top of the body needs to be refinished; sounds, feels and plays great. so one win, one loss, so far.

I recently ordered another, $200 guitar, should arrive early November.

they have so many shops; they also use the same stock photos. I found at least 4-5 shops that were selling the same model and color, all using the same photos...so who knows. even the feedback / ratings are questionable. The shop I purchased it from had the most positive feedback, and I read all of them and they looked legit - i.e., actual English speakers writing their thoughts vs the English used in the listing.
 
Not sure what counts as a ridiculous deal for this amp, but I just got a '82 4104 loaded with EV Force 12's for less than 1200 out the door. Gonna need a cap job soon, but otherwise looks super clean inside and works.

Ya know, I think the only Mesa amps I could buy w/o hating myself would be another Stiletto, or a Studio Pre (maaaaaybe a clean Dual Rec). I've never played a Mark amp and I just don't know if I could justify one for some reason.
 
There was a DSL on SF Craigslist for $500 recently, that’s a good deal. A lot of guys love those amps.
