UPS drop the ball. Closing Service Centers (The Hub)

I ALWAYS take my packages to the HUB. Bypassing those waists of space dumb ass's at UPS Stores.

My guy behind the Hub service center informs me ALL UPS service centers will close down within the week or maybe
stay open till Christmas. Of course, he lost his job because of this change.

So from now on we have to use the UPS Stores. Those slack ass's are clueless. Plus the customers seems just as clueless.

And I can't imagine some of the weak ass people man handling a 65lb boxed up amp without dropping it from the counter to the holding area.

I thought you got a nitro boost on that broom last week

Around here they are rude and nosy and ask what you are shipping. What the heck is with that? I don't like lying but I also don't want to be giving heads up on whether something I'm shipping is worth stealing. One more reason I only do craigslist or just give it away if I don't want it.

FYI, if you drop-off an amp (or anything else) at a UPS store, and they damage it in transit, they will only cover up to $1,000 regardless of what you wrote for the declared value. I found that out the hard way.

If you can't drop it off at the UPS hub, you have to schedule a UPS pickup and have the driver sign off some type of UPS form when the declared value is over $1,000.

One thing the Service Center guy told me businesses that ship hazardous packages through the service centers are fucked.
Saying the UPS Stores cant handle those customers.

FedEx wins I guess.

Just say "unused dildos". It's legal. Now if you say "used" there might be a problem with toxic/hazardous materials.

I could be wrong, but I think if you create a UPS account, you can create / print your own label.
Then it would just be a matter of dropping off at a location that accepts UPS Drop Offs / Access Points. Believe it or not, the closest one for me, is the CVS down the street.

This, or to save even more just get a Pirate ship account. Or Ship nerd...these 3rd party shippers save us 50-70% vs going to the UPS website and pricing it there.
I can still ship an amp across country for 100 bucks....if I price it at the UPS hub, it's closer to 200 or more.

Use that as well. But my point is the less monkeys touching my box(oh shit,,did I just type that)
The better I feel. Like I said, the skinny broad at the UPS store cant life a 65 pound amp off the counter.

The real question is, how many times have you allowed the skinny broad to touch your box? :ROFLMAO:

I carry heavy packages into the back and put it on the floor for them.
