Anybody here still subscribe? Or better yet, subscribed recently?

Been attempting to get a subscription for my son and am just constantly running into issues. Pointing me through a UK based subscription service (but im in the US). Supposed to have received the first issue a week ago but nothing yet and if I check the online status it’s telling me there are no issues to dispatch. This is after the first attempt at getting a subscription apparently never went through.

I still subscribe and got a subscription renewal notice last week, recommending I get one sub for myself and another sub as a gift.

I had the same problem with them (well, that UK company) a while back - I gave them my card information and then nothing, check to see my card was never billed, contacted them, gave them another card and never got an issue so checked and that account was never billed, either. Finally just decided I was done trying.

Sounds exactly like my experience except the second time I have actually been billed
 
I just received the last hard copy issue of Guitar Player. I still get Guitar World and went through the UK company. Took a minute to get the subscription/prescription going however once they start the only way it ever shuts down is if you fail to pay the renewal.

Kind of sad about Guitar Player. Spent a number of years deployed to the Middle East and it was always special when one of the big three magazines showed up, Guitar World/Player and Vintage Guitar.

I also carried forward the tradition of the American military selling gear just like the sailor who sold George Harrisson his first black Gretsch, I sold all of the gear that I bought specifically for the trip to local musicians.
