I know this may be dumb but if a Marshall jvm coming from Spain is set up for 230v can u change the fuse underneath the plug in and replace with the fuse needed for 120v or am I gonna need a step down unit??
I had a JVM combo from the UK years ago like that. It was a pain in the ass. I was gonna have the transformer replaced until I found out the cost, so I just sold the amp instead.
You can get a transformer from TAD for about 300 bucks, so you might want to factor that into your purchase price. Its a shame they didn't provide voltage taps on these transformers.
