Apparently this is a very frequent and well-known issue. I can pair my Ox Box to my Mac but not my wifi. Made sure my router is 2.5GHz (it doesn't work on 5GHz). Tried all their troubleshooting steps. Unplugged, uninstalled, reset, etc.

No workee. Might have to try another unit

Is the OX showing up in your WiFi options?

You can’t connect to your household WiFi network and OX simultaneously

Correct. The setup attaches the OX to the wifi, which it can't do. I can attach my Mac to the wifi, and my Mac to the OX. They are supposed to then communicate with each other over the wifi, but the OX won't attach to the wifi.

At some point, the OX Box and the Mac are supposed to be connected to the wifi at the same time, correct?

Not having a go, just clarifying, it’s Gigahertz (GHz), not G for WiFi. G is for generation in cell phone networks.
2.4 GHz
5 GHz
