Friedman SS Modded by Ground Zero Amps

More please! That sounds amazeballs. Version 1 or 2 that was modded??
It's V1 converted to V2 specs, then tweaked from there. Can't wait to spend more time with it. There'll be more, for sure!
I was close to grabbing this...... glad it went to you. Cheers and enjoy man
Heeeeyyyy man! How ya been?
Thanks! I tried really hard to hold off, but resistance was futile.
Sounds awesome! @RedPlated knows what's up. He has a killer ear for tone.
💯

@RedPlated should start modding Friedmans in his (plentiful, ha!) free time.
Friedman / Ground Zero partnership.

For real tho, how cool is Dave? He shares info with these amp dudes like GZ & Headfirst, answers the phone and helps out anyone, with something as simple as a bad fuse. I love what Jeremy did with this, and I've loved and owned several Friedman amps before this.

Friedman is a kick ass guy

Hope I don't wear y'all out with too many clips. I played for over an hour when I woke up this morning.
Here's a quickie I made, showing the cleaner side of things:

Finally got around to trying the switches, knobs and clean channel. Can't praise @RedPlated enough for what he did with this SS. It was one of my fav Friedman amps before (2nd to the Phil X), but now it's next level.
I dig it so much, he made my Christmas card list.

Digging these PAF type pickups that @scottosan wound! Other PAF types I've had: Antiquity, Seth Lover, Burstbucker, Burstbucker Pro, Custombucker and Calibrated T-type. This set from Scott is great. They're open, clear/articulate and bright. Let's the amp do it's thing. I can make full use of the volume and tone knobs to get the sound I'm shooting for. I'm getting some Slash vibes with this set.

Dudes! Feeling Lynchy. Lynch-like.
This @RedPlated GZ SS Supreme is set at the low gain setting (gain knob pulled out) for the rhythm, HBE hit for the lead, still in low gain mode. It's fuggin killer!

Figuring out this looper, the Valeton VLP-200. It's pretty neat, but there are some things I don't dig.
One is the overdub function. You have to hit it on and back off within the base track, or it will automatically double your loop size. I wish I could turn this off, so I could keep the overdub going and add layers, without affecting the loop size.
Second is the drums. You can't just hit a button, and both the loop and drums start or stop. You have to be super precise with the tap, on the beat at the start of a drum pattern that's already going, or it's a mess.
It would also be cool if you could go from one preset to another within a project, so you could have more than 2 parts to a song.
I wonder if they can make these adjustable with updates. Other than those things, I'm digging it.
