Whats thicker? blood or country. Would you turn in a family member for espionage or terrorist intentions

Clearly humanity will sell their own family out. You just need to look at what happened in East Germany with the Stasi. That was unbelievable. It's probably the same in China, North Korea and Russia. For sure it happens in the west too but at the lesser end of the scale. People are inherently evil and fickle as hell. Never trust anyone. Or maybe better to say trust but verify lol.
