Why hasn’t this sold yet?

& I thought this $1700 local gem was bad.

How I hate this. I mean, it`s your guitar, do whatever you want with it. But don`t expect others to appreciate your tinker-BS

It’s because of no Trem I’m sure of it. That guitar screams tremolo…or how bout TWO tremolos. A Floyd behind a Bigsby.

Missed opportunity.

I know.

Completely wrecking an otherwise very nice plain top traditional.

Obviously it's not the most "extreme" mod ever, but I think it actually pisses me off more

because you could have literally put those switches in existing holes and had 2 volumes, and done NO drilling in the top

or if you just have to ruin the top, drill them by the knobs

But no, they just had to drill in the most unusable retarded spot ever

My first Les Paul, was from the 70's, and someone had added two small toggles to it, in its younger years.
Back then I did not care, and cherished it.
These days, it is just wasteful experimentation..............and wouldn't they have to route the back too, in order to accommodate the power for the Sustainiac ?

Scott, that guitar is what they call a "catch all"...........it serves ALL OF THE PURPOSES !!! :ROFLMAO:

I don't mind the switches if they're functional, it's just you could literally do NO permanent modification to the guitar and do the same thing, let alone drilling the topwood

There HAS TO BE a route back there of some sort, to accommodate the depth of those switches.........that is one of the thickest areas of the guitar !

Mine were drilled between the knobs (to the inside of control cavity), so it was a fairly easy fix after finding maple with similar grain pattern, creating dowels, and then stain / drop fill.

Yeah it's been on my marketplace feed for a while now. The more I see it, the worse it gets.

No photos of the back, of course.
