Post something outside the rig-talk norm of heavy stuff. I been liking this one a lot lately. I have always been a big fan of the movie and soundtrack. I hope y'all's weekend is off to a swell start. Share stuff you been 'preciatin....

these are some songs ive added to my "Fall 2024" playlist on spotify which im sure you will all dig

The nothing song reminds me of the 90s. Man, i forgot about spam strumming one chord for 8-16 bars then moving to another for the same. That is so classic, especially heavily distorted. I remember thinking as a kid how powerful that sounded. Lmao

I’m assuming non-RT means non metal/hair/cool music. Guitar not the dominant instrument.

I’ve always loved Lionel Richie’s vocals and this is one of my favorites.

I love vocal harmonies of the LRB

I’ve always loved Sam Cooke

ummet ozcan ft otyken altay found that an more when I discovered Mongolian metal; The HU seems to be big, but Uuhai is very good IMO

Many years ago I discovered Wagakki Band

having issues with media links this morning; anyone else?

Basie, Green, Payne and Jones - best swing jazz rhythm section ever. IMO

The bassist is Eddie Jones Jr. many years later, in the 1990s, I met him as Ed Jones and worked with him. In the '90s he would take his trio to Europe, mostly Paris, every summer. Amazing musician, great person, big personal influence. RIP Ed.

Couple more I still keep on rotation sometimes

Taking me back home, love some New Orleans ladies

Down home Percy Sledge

Steve Marriott is one of my all time favs, especially in the '60s Small Faces
