For sale is my early 2000's (either 2001 or 2002) Jackson KV2 USA in translucent black.
Ebony fretboard
Mother of Pearl inlays and logo
The hardware was swapped to black from chrome.
Bridge pickup is a Duncan Custom TB5
Neck pickup is stock Duncan Jazz
Springs replaced with heavy duty noiseless
Tuners replaced with Gotoh locking
It came with the small/thin medium frets when I bought it. I had it refretted with Jescar 57x110 stainless steel by Healy Guitars in Easthampton, Massachussets. As part of the fret work, they leveled the board which removed the serial number from the end of it. I had it recorded but lost the file when my phone died.
It has it's fair share of dings and scratches, especially on the back. The tips are relatively clean, minus one ding on the top of the lower fin.
Comes in a recent Jackson HSC.
With the fretwork it plays amazingly well and sounds great too. I just don't get along with recessed Floyd Rose bridges, no matter how hard I try.
