I just learned that my recent acquisition (Orange Rocker 30) is a class A amplifier. I barely understand what that means (Tubes always have full power?), but I'm even more curious about how it affects the playing and listening experience. Is there a way to describe the differences in a general, perhaps like comparing tube to solid state? PS I absolutely love the Rocker 30. It feels and is voiced similar to a 2203, but has that Orange saturation and way more gain.
