The reason my CS Strat is for sale!

My buddy offered me his 2021 Andy. I couldn't refuse. All of his Andys play so good, and this is no different. Best playing guitars I've put hands on.

This one has some of his finishing touches, like the Floyd upgrades, matching paint knobs, and a ToneNerd Wicked 8 humbucker. The W8 replaced a Tone Zone, that replaced the stock H3.

Sweet! I have a red 2H, and a white one (not Anderson). Great finishes.
I've been eyeballing the one in the classifieds for while

Enjoy!

Nice. The one in the emporium is sweet, one of the originals from around the time Kirk Hammet used Pro Ams.
I learned, while researching, that Hetfield used a Pro Am for "Nothing Else Matters", has an H3+ installed on the "so what" Explorer (dunno if it was used on MOP tho), Billy Howerdel uses H1-/H3+ in his LPs, and Mesa uses the H3 to test their amps.

Very nice! I'd love to see how the black accents are achieved. It looks like they place a small drop then hit it with a short burst of air.

That's killer. You don't see many red/black bowling balls, but it's a great combination (as are most!)

I love bowling ball paint jobs. Between these, Caparisons, and the Red Cloud Ripley... lots of inspiration.

Interesting thing about the bowling ball finishes are that Tom Anderson's team doesn't do them in house.
They're still sent out to the same singular guy who has been doing them since the 80's.

That is a great looking Anderson. Let me know if you ever decide to sell it.
You officially have dibs!
Hoping to move the CS Fender to offset the cost. May have to flip the Andy (or EVH 78 and an amp) if the Strat doesn't move. That's a ways off tho. I'm in no hurry.
You'll be the first to know if I do.

Damn

Looks amazing. Bet it feels amazing too. My 2023 Drop Top Classic's the best guitar I've played

Playing it is like skating on glass. What's your Drop Top specs?

Quilt Maple top on Ash back
Maple neck and board, 1 5/8" nut width
Happy medium neck shape
Jumbo frets
Off white pearl pickguard
Floyd Rose

It really is like skating on glass yeah

I'm technology stupid... how do I get a pic to post on here since photo bucket went away? (I know - dinosaur)

To the OP - you scored a nice one!
